Locally-Grown Munchkey Apples

Crimson Crisp: Crimson Crisp, as its name implies, is a firm, deep red-purple, and crunchy apple. Its crispy yellow flesh holds a sweet-tart flavor, making it a great fresh-eating apple as well as a good juice or cider variety. 

McIntosh: Sweet and tart flavor with some tanginess. It tastes like tart apple cider and is incredibly juicy. Good for baking, juicing, and eating. Because they are so juicy, McIntosh apples are an excellent choice to use for apple juice and sweet cider. The apple is tart enough to hold its own in a sweet dessert. The soft flesh of the apple makes it a perfect choice for applesauce or apple pie.

Fuji Apples: Fuji apples are crisp and very juicy with a sugary-sweet flavor that resembles freshly-pressed apple juice. The interior of the apple boasts firm, creamy-white flesh that is fine-grained. Fujis are great for eating fresh, cooking, baking, adding in salads, turning into pies, or creating sauces.

Blondee: The Blondee apple was discovered growing amongst an orchard of Gala apples, thus has been described as the "yellow Gala.” With bright white flesh that is slow to brown, Blondee’s have a sweet taste with hints of honey and green banana. They retain their shape when baked, and they mix nicely with tarter-flavored apples in pies and sauce.
