History
Brennan's Market had a long partnership with Jacobson Brothers Meats and their potato salad. When they closed in January 2019, we need to develop a replacement stat! After months and months of work, we believe that our dupe for their potato salad is even better than the original. We hope that you love it as much as we do!

In my opinion, no deli potato salad has come close to topping Jacobson Brothers, but this one is very close! After tasting it, I felt like there was a little too much mustard and/or just needed a tiny bit more sugar. Maybe more radish? I'm not sure, but the texture seemed very similar. All I know is, it's close enough that I'll be back for more! It's so worth the stop too, so many other goodies to choose from in this market!
I just purchased 10 pounds of what I thought would be the original, delicious Jacobson's potato salad, and sadly, it was not the original. It was a brand shipped from New Jersey. While it was, still good, it was NOT as good as the best potato salad ever, Jacobson's. Just wanted to clarify, so others don't get their hopes up.
I am thrilled to know that Brennan’s still has Jacobson’s potato salad. It is better than my mom’s and she was an excellent cook. I will purchase some tomorrow for the Fourth of July. Trust me, it is the best.
