Door County, WI. is famous for its great location, hiking and biking trails, quaint harbor towns, and most importantly its cherries. Door County's cherry orchards can produce up to 13 million pounds of cherries annually!
But you don't have to venture to Door County to get the taste of homegrown Wisconsin cherries. Brennan's Market is featuring fresh (NOT FROZEN!) pitted Door County Pie Cherries, a Wisconsin favorite.
These tart cherries are also known as Montmorency Cherries and, according to Door County cherry growers; they are having an excellent season! But, the season is very short.
Available in 8 lb and 30 lb pails with sugar, 7 lb and 25 lb pails without sugar, and packed in quart containers.
Due to your requests, we have made one change to our 30Lb pails. Now they have 50% less sugar. They were 25 lbs of cherries and 5 lbs of sugar. Now they are 27 lbs of cherries and 3 lbs of sugar. So, more cherries and less sugar!
