Sumo Citrus Salsa

Sumo Citrus Salsa

Add a burst of vitamin C to your salsa with Sumo Oranges. Great with tortilla chips or on chicken, fish or shrimp tacos. 


2 tablespoons raw sugar 
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil

2 fresh jalapeno peppers, chopped 
1 green pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
1 cucumber, diced 
1 1/2 cup mandarin, each segment cut in 1/4 
1 small onion, chopped
1 small red onion, chopped
5 roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
2 tablespoons shallots, finely sliced 


In a small bowl, combine the sugar, lime juice, salt, pepper, garlic and olive oil. Set aside.
Place all salsa ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
Add the dressing and let it marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator, serve at room temperature with corn chips, wraps, tacos, salads, grills and more.
