8 coarsely chopped fresh California Plumcots

1 1/2 Tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

2 Tablespoons cornstarch

2 Tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

1 clove garlic, minced

Use as a glaze or baste for pork or chicken. Serve remaining sauce with meat

In a blender or food processor, whirl plumcots until blended. In 1-quart microwave-safe glass measure, combine all ingredients. Microwave on high, uncovered, 8 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes until thick and clear.
