Bourbon Glazed Ham with Brown Sugar Pecan Mustard

Adapted By Brennan's 27 Sep 2018

Serving Size: 8

1 8-10lb Ham

15 cloves, optional

3 cups water

1/2 cup Bourbon

1/2 cup Terrapin Ridge Brown Sugar and Pecan Mustard

1 cup Brown Sugar

Adapted From:Terrapin Ridge

This ham glaze has a ton of flavor and also works well on pork roasts.

Position oven rack in bottom third of oven; heat to 325F. You’ll need a shallow roasting pan. If using, press cloves into the ham. Place ham in roasting pan; pour water in pan. Cover loosely with heavy-duty foil. Roast ham for 1 ½ hour.

Meanwhile, mix glaze ingredients. Remove ham from oven; brush with one-third of the glaze. Continue to bake, uncovered, 1 hour, brushing with remaining glaze every 20 minutes, or until internal temperature registers 160F on an instant-read thermometer.

Let ham rest 20 minutes. Remove cloves. Transfer to a platter. Serve hot, warm, or at room temperature.
