Sweet and Sour Cabbage Slaw

This flavorful side dish is great for picnics as a side dish to chicken or pork.

Ingredients:
    ¼ cup Brennans Cherry Honey Vinegar
    ¼ Brennans Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    ¼ cup water
    2 ½ teaspoons coarsely cracked pepper
    Salt, to taste
    ¼ teaspoons dried thyme
    1 medium head red cabbage (about 1 lb), quartered, cored and thinly sliced, about 10 cups)
    1 small red onion, halved, thinly sliced (about 1 cup)


Preparation:

Combine vinegar, water, pepper, thyme and salt in a large bowl. Mix well.

Add cabbage and onion and toss until well- coated.

Let it chill for a couple of hours to meld flavors.

Serve at room temperature.
